Map of Myself - Photo-Canopy10 - 'Traces' Exhibition

This artwork was created for the 10th Photo-Canopy Open Call under the theme 'Traces'.
I created a map out of a photo of an oak leaf that was taken at Conkers, in The National Forest. This picture was laser engraved onto a wooden board, and a self-portrait was painted in watercolour on top of it. This work represents my connection to local nature and how it affected and changed me over the years, leaving its traces like footprints behind.
